Kate Maveau is an audiovisual artist. She graduated with a master’s degree in film at RITS, Brussels, and Newport Film School, Uk. She did a study on human behavioral patterns which she concluded in her award-nominated short film SHIMI. This experience gave her a ticket to work on sets of experienced directors like Lars Von Trier.

In her spare time, Kate expresses herself through music exploring new techniques on her violin. Addicted to storytelling, she consumes games in search of new experiences. She’s quirky and observative but once you get to know her, she will challenge you to a fierce dance duel. Kate is a thirty-year-old queer woman residing in Antwerp, Belgium.
